This is a plain-language draft. Before launch, replace the words in [square brackets] and have a lawyer who knows Indian IT and data-protection law read it.
You must be [18] or older and legally able to use this service. One person, one account. Your profile must be honest: your own photo, your real age and name.
A video call starts only when both people agree. You must not record, screenshot or share another person's chat, photo or video without their clear permission.
The green tick means a selfie was sent. Our team compares it with the profile photo. If nobody has checked within 6 hours the tick is given automatically and may be checked or removed later. It does not prove anyone's character, income, marital status or history. Meet people carefully.
You can ask to delete your account at any time. Your profile is hidden from other members at once. Our team approves the request and then erases your data. You can cancel the request until the data is erased.
If you break these rules we may remove content, warn you, pause your account or delete it and block your email. Reports are reviewed by people. We can also act when the law asks us to. We may read the last messages of a chat that was reported.
We work hard to keep Mitr safe but we cannot check everyone or control what members do outside the site. The service is provided as it is. To the extent the law allows, [operator name] is not responsible for what members say or do, or for meetings between members.
We may update these terms and will tell you about important changes. These terms are governed by the laws of India, and courts at [city] have jurisdiction.
